What is The Lupecoin Project (TLP)?

The Lupecoin Project was borne out of a humorous meme character called ‘Senor Lupe’. Lupe grew a large following very quickly within the cryptocurrency community on Twitter. 12 founders and 60 team members decided to take the meme to the next level and create a Utility Coin for the community… The Lupecoin Project (TLP) was borne. Who is Senor Lupe?

It's a mystery.  Nobody knows. Even we don’t know but the light hearted tweets of ‘ es love’, ‘es kind’ and ‘no ever scam’  have attracted thousands of followers. Lupe highlights the need to be kind to each other, especially during times when the crypto markets are down. The ethical stance of Senor Lupe is what inspired our project’s ethics and that is where the connection stops.  We have made massive strides within this industry in a very short space of time. We put this success down to the projects ethics of cooperation and kindness, plus our awesome team and supporters.

Animated Series

Lupe and Frens is our fun and family frenly animation series. We have been working very hard in the background to create this fun animation and will be releasing our first episode very soon! Bookmark this blog so you don’t miss the much awaited first episode.

The Unity Rap and Dance

The animation team have spoilt us with an educational rap that is intended to bring people from all over the world together in unity. They have created a very simple hand waving dance that anyone can participate in to show their unity with and for others.

Help us send a positive message about people coming together through reason, logic and love.

The Unity Rap COMPETITION

Perform the unity dance and send in a video to the Lupe Coin Project. Ask your Grandparents, Children, Aunts, Teachers, Co-workers (and anyone else you can think of) to participate in your video and help spread the word of love and understanding. Top 21 videos will receive real $LUPX Cryptocurrency! How exciting is that? Don’t miss your chance to enter.

Rules of competition

For your chance to win a mega-prize of 10,000 LUPX, or one of 20 x 1000 $LUPX runner up prizes, simply follow the rules below:  

1. Watch the rap and share it on Twitter and Facebook.
2. Retweet the official pinned tweet from here: https://twitter.com/LupeandFrens
3. Follow @LupecoinProject and @LupeandFrens
4. Watch the example dance video below to learn the Unity Dance.
5. Record yourself and your frens doing your best Unity Dance.
6. Simply email your 5 to 10 sec video in .mp4 or .mov format. (20mb MAX) to lupecreative@gmail.com
7. We will pick the lucky winners for the best unity dance on 21/09/2018.
8. You will be informed if you are a winner by 28/09/2018.
9. By submitting to the competition, you allow your video to be used/licensed as seen fit by the organizers in the future.

Anyone can take part, from young to old. Show your unity with others. (please don’t put yourself at risk when performing the unity dance. Keep it safe). Oh and have fun doing it!

The team would like people to smile and see the world through a different lens for a while. Participating in the competition could not only gets you free cryptocurrency, but it gives everyone a chance to make the world just that little bit nicer.

The Week That Was

It’s been a pretty exciting week. While some folks are enjoying their bbq’s over the long Labor Day weekend, we thought we would share some thoughts from the outside looking in. Our project’s goal has always been to foster love, friendship and happiness. Looking at some of the news from the crypto world in the past week, here are some thoughts from all of us in the true spirit of the Lupecoin Project:

Roger Ver and Craig Wright blocked each other on their Twitter feeds: We all have our differences and we all disagree from time to time, but we at Lupecoin Project would like nothing more than to see Professor Faustus and Roger hug it out… cause frens should be frens, and all can be forgiven and forgotten, with a simple gesture that comes from the heart. If someone can ping us Roger and Craig’s ERC20 addy’s we would happily send them both some LUPX.

Lloyd’s of London considers insuring crypto: Wow.. Talk about adoption! Lloyds, one of the oldest institutions in the insurance space (dating back to 1686) wants to insure cryptos from theft. We still feel and encourage you to use a good Cold Storage option for all your LUPX. There are several options out there, from the Ledger Nano S, the Trezor, the BitFi, and soon to come, the Ecomi One. For all you future LUPX whales out there, however, there’s always the Lloyd’s option!

Eminem track has BTC reference: One of the tracks on Eminem’s latest CD Kamikaze, ‘Not Alike’, has rapper Royce Da 5’9” refer to biting Bitcoin instead of Nickel. I, for one, truly believe that the world would be a much nicer and happier place when Eminem takes to rapping about LUPX instead. That would be one happy track. And speaking of ‘happy track’… something big is coming… stay tuned to Lupecoin Project for more!

BitMain launches ETH pool: So monopolizing BTC wasn’t enough, apparently… BitMain wants to corner ETH mining too. Let’s see how that turns out. Did you know LUPX is pre-mined? No concerns there! Blockchain jobs are at an all time high: We know that to be true, and can totally see that expanding even further as time progresses. At Lupecoin Project, we had very humble beginnings with just a handful of people (initially just 1 – Senor Hansel!). We now stand at over 65 and still growing with animators, writers, blockchain experts and coders, designers and more. He rode into town on his trusty steed Chummy and started clearing out the salt and spreading good cheer to everyone. Like a modern day St. Nicholas he brings good tidings of joy and positivity wherever he may roam. We see his deeds, his name, and his brilliant philosophy of life from the streets of Las Vegas to the Jersey Shore, from the windy Welsh forests to the alligator strewn Gulf Coast. He brings cheer to the desolate and far-flung Hawaiian Islands and hope to the cane-lashed gum chewers in Singapore. Senor Lupe is a modern day Til Ubenspeigal, the kind of joyful soul who encourages people to laugh even when the hangman’s noose is being draped over his head. His followers circle the globe from the ancient mounds of Ohio to the pyramids at Giza. There is never a harsh word from or to him but one question rides as near to him as his trusty steed and only friend….

WHO IS SENOR LUPE?

Who is this guy? Where does he live? Is he Mexican? Is he Spanish? Is he a man or a woman or maybe a talking horse? Does he live in a tree or on a boat? Does he like dogs? (Of course he does, he likes every living thing. So at least we know the answer to one of the questions.)

Stories of him traveling the world and performing miracles like bringing life back to flat beer or mysteriously turning raging bears into mild bulls keep growing. Sightings of him continue to pour in from the forests of the Pacific Northwest and Canada to the mountains of India and Tibet. It’s said that he is being pursued by the Chinese government for achieving the highest known social value score and that the NSA wants to bring him on as a ‘friendship’ consultant so that they can grow their network around the globe.

No one knows if he is red or yellow, black or white but one thing for sure - all are special in his sight. His true identity remains hidden behind his hat - like the glasses of Clark Kent. Maybe the disguise isn’t as hard to peel away as an Iron Man suit or the Hulk’s huge body - but it seems to work because Senor Lupe, the secret man behind the secret identity remains clouded in mystery.

Internet users have guessed that he is actually a powerful and well known individual who has no need of wealth but only wants to encourage crypto adoption. Recently rumors of him being Satoshi Nakamoto have surfaced - but it has also been whispered that Senor Lupe is actually none other than Elon Musk - the founder of Tesla and SpaceX - and the real life model behind Tony Stark of the Ironman films. One theory is that Senor Lupe is actually Keanu Reeves, the star of the Matrix and John Wick films but no one really knows.

There are dark theories as well. One says Senor Lupe is a good man wrongfully accused and imprisoned for crimes he didn’t commit and he brings his joy and friendship to the internet from a cellphone he hides in his cell and charges with a micro solar panel. Another theory is that Senor Lupe is actually an A.I. This theory says that his early ‘spanglish’ was actually the AI learning how to communicate with the internet. The darkest theories revolve around freedom, guns, money, and the enslavement of the human race - Senor Lupe is on a mission to save us all.

The truth is though - that no one really knows who Senor Lupe is or why he has chosen to be among us. The conspiracies abound but this writer has never seen nor heard about convincing proof in any direction…
